Resources: Magazines

Latest edit: March 10, 2018

I've enjoyed a life-long love affair with magazines. And what's not to love? They're shiny, portable, have lots of photographs, and are chock-full of stories just long enough to satisfy those of us who might have a smidge of Adult ADD.

And there are DISNEY-THEMED magazines! I've subscribed to a few, and I read them cover-to-cover, jotting down the occasional note for future trip planning. I've saved them all, because, well, they're DISNEY! :-)

This is another post that I hope to update occasionally, as I read through more issues. This is a list of magazines I've actually read. There are other issues scattered about my house, patiently waiting their turn.

Unless otherwise noted, these are not affiliated with, authorized by, or owned by The Walt Disney Company or any affiliated companies.

Celebrations: Discovering the Magic of Walt Disney World

Celebrations is a full-color, glossy confection of photographs and articles covering every inch of the Walt Disney World Resort. Regular columns include restaurant reviews, a Hidden Mickeys article by Steve Barrett (author of the Hidden Mickey Field Guide series), quizzes, Kids Kolumns, and various items from Lou Mongello. Celebrations is published six times per year.

Orlando Attractions Magazine

As its name implies, Orlando Attractions covers the entire Orlando area. Also a full-color, glossy magazine, it covers news and reviews of the major tourist draws in the area, along with a few pages on further-flung theme parks. Being the largest attraction in the area, Walt Disney World is well-represented. If you're also interested in Universal, Sea World, Legoland, etc., though, it's hard to go wrong with this publication. Orlando Attractions is published four times a year.
